The carnivores of the Pripris in video

Guyane

Thanks to camera traps set up by our conservation partner, the Sepanguy Association, and funded by Palmyre Conservation as part of the study of the giant otter population, we were able to capture remarkable images of the secretive fauna of the Pripris of Yiyis in French Guiana.

The first video shows rare scenes in the lives of giant otters, from scent marking of their territory to transporting their cubs from one location to another. The second gives a glimpse of other carnivores that share the giant otter's habitat: jaguar, puma, jaguarondi, and ocelot!
